The year has started. I'm encouraged by how many people have chosen to contact me for lessons this September. I'm also happy with those of you who have chosen to audition for the BYSO. I am currently accepting students at my Issaquah location and am continuing to search for a location in Bellevue to serve all of those who want lessons in Bellevue.

Deadlines and dates: If anyone forgets the date of a competition or deadline for taped auditions I'm am gradually adding them to the calendar for reference.

Contests Page: After some editing by my brother and I the contests page is up. It should be used to direct students to the different opportunities they have to play in Seattle and beyond. Those who enjoy playing with others and or are competitive will enjoy these opportunities. Any suggestions on what to add to the list is much appreciated.

Bellevue: I am pleased to announce that I will be starting to teach lessons on Mondays at Lake Sammamish Foursquare church in Bellevue. Those who wish to see that exact location need to go to the contact page on the website.

KingCo Contest: All students participating in the KingCo solo / ensemble contest need to ask their public school teacher for the date and registration form for the contest if the teacher has it..

Auditions and Competitions. Those of you who are in middle school and are interested in auditioning for the All-State Orchestra or Band should talk to me during their lesson. The high school taped audition date has already passed by. All my students eligible for participating in the King County Solo competition should start thinking about if they desire to participate. Please check the website soon for information and links to local competitions, orchestras, and auditions.
